Fees

Due to rising costs – More so with extra precautions for COVID-19 and poor funding from the government, many general practitioners in Australia have been forced to increase the out-of-pocket expenses for their patients. It is becoming very difficult to practice high quality medicine at Bulk billing rates. We will need to implement an increase to our consultation fees. This allows us to continue providing quality and comprehensive care across all elements of our practice. Your rebate is fixed by the federal government and has not increased in relation to business costs.

Eastern Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. Payment is required at the time of consultation. Aged pension card holders, Disability pension card holders and children under sixteen will be Bulk Billed.

Please remember to bring your Medicare card and any concession cards to ensure that they are still valid.
